if its water weren't warm
this river would cause fear-
coming near its stream
one would be afraid.
but the water is so warm
the river doesn't cause any more fear-
if you get near the stream
you just wish you were making love.
l'originale italiano era (ma preferisco l'inglese, devo dire):
se la sua acqua non fosse tiepida
questo fiume farebbe paura-
avvicinandosi alla corrente
se ne avrebbe timore.
ma l'acqua è tanto tiepida
che il fiume non fa più paura-
se ci si avvicina alla corrente
viene voglia di fare all'amore.
